Paloma Faith’s New Single!

It is amazing, emotional and very dramatic. I love it! Can’t wait to hear the whole album ‘Fall to Grace’ and see her on tour again! She is, as Miranda Hart would say… Fantabulousimo. Well done Paloma :)

I do not doubt for a second that those involved in KONY 2012 have great intentions, nor do I doubt for a second that Joseph Kony is a very evil man. But despite this, I’m strongly opposed to the…

My new outlook on life in general.
Looks like I am probably going to be staying in rainy Haslingden for another year, but the things you want are never easy to achieve. Will try at Drama School again next year. From 2000-3000 applicants each place only takes 16-25ish people, so it’s really hard. If Drama School doesn’t work out then there are other ways into Acting. All I know is that I love it and am never going to give up following my dreams. Plus I’ve learnt which are the people that matter and the people that care and love me for who I am, the others I can do without.
Life is definetely too short to waste your time feeling sorry for yourself and being treated less than you are worth.

So true. Life is not straightforward, there are many different roads, some which you never thought you would take. I’m just realising this now…
Cannot wait for new One Tree Hill to start, hopefully it will go back to basics and be more reminisienct of the earlier days, although I love them all, they were definetely the true, inspiring and heart felt seasons.

I doubt anybody really reads my blog thingy but I had to just publicly display my love and affection for this particular TV series which never fails to cheer me up and make me laugh. Victoria Wood is a comic genius and probably one of my favourite comedians, the writing and jokes and characters and EVERYTHING is just so clever! The whole cast are hilarious and the characters are so wonderfully written. I know some episodes off my heart basically now, (i own the box set you see). Also how can I forget my favourite actress of all time, my role model in basically everything and all round absolute legend Julie Walters’ role as Victoria Wood’s mum… absolutely hilarious, her comic timing is second to none and that womans versatilty is beyond amazing, I managed to blabble on about her in my LAMDA audition/interview on Saturday too…. I have too much respect and admiration for her and for Victoria Wood. (and for all the other actors in dinnerladies like the awesome Maxine Peake and Celia Imre.) Anyway this will not be the last reference to dinnerladies, Victoria Wood or Julie Walters…. but just thought I would share my love for such a wonderful programme that never gets old, I shall end with one of my favourite lines of the whole programme…. “ARE YOU CALLING ME A THRUSH THRUSTER?!”.  As I said GENIUS!

Yes that is correct - I did go out dressed like this. But it was for a fancy dress may I add, I was supposed to be Janis Joplin, (absolute legend of a woman!) the theme was ‘famous dead people’. I also went out like this after the party too, and was dancing in a club looking like a hippie….. Got a few funny stares (although that may have also been because I decided to do a backwards roll in the middle of the dancefloor) But heeey do I care? HELL NO - LIFE IS TOO SHORT!!

We have more ability than will power, and it is often an excuse to ourselves that we imagine that things are impossible.

This is so true. I’m going to try a little bit harder in everything I do from now on. I know what I need to do to achieve and get where I want to be, an extra bit of effort will do no harm. Everything worth having is worth fighting for and you’ll never get anywhere without trying.
